Hi, there! I'm Darlis, the Digital Communications and Web Specialist of the FAU DCN-AvH, Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship headed by Prof. Enrique Zuazua and of the FAU MoD, Research Center for Mathematics of Data at FAU, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany).
In 2023 I completed, the Machine Learning Specialization (Stanford University and DeepLearning.AI, 2023). I'm a Computer Science Engineer (UCAB) and hold Master degrees in: Internet Business, Digital Design & 3D Animation and Cisco CCNA Telecom & IT Essentials (Basque Country, Spain).
I'm proud to had the honor to work on the English translation and typesettings of the scientific book by Prof. Enrique Zuazua (2024): Exact Controllability and Stabilization of the Wave Equation, Springer https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-58857-0, FAU CRIS
I'm passionate about finding creative ways to support and promote our team’s research—whether through enhanced web rendering of mathematical content, organizing scientific events, or producing digital media. My work spans event logistics, web and media design, video creation/editing, and scientific outreach —see FAU DCN-AvH Seminars and FAU MoD Lectures.
In 2026, I'm part of the Organizing Committee of the #MLPDES26, Machine Learning and PDEs Workshop as I was in 2025 at the 1st. Edition #MLPDES25 and in 2024 for the Trends in Mathematical Sciences conference (June 10-14, 2024) hosted by FAU MoD in Erlangen - Bavaria, Germany. Previously, I also contributed to organizing the Control and Optimization in the age of Data (May 2, 2023) in Erlangen.
Since 2011, I've contributed to research across a range of fields—including health, environment, and mathematics—in roles such as software developer for clinical trials, research technician, mobile app developer, IT support, and web specialist. Since 2019, I’ve also served as web specialist for DeustoCCM, the Chair of Computational Mathematics at the University of Deusto.
